Our Mission
Marin Mutts Dog Rescue exists to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs in need while educating our community about responsible pet ownership and the joys of the human-canine bond.

From Forgotten to Family
When a trembling shepherd mix arrived from an overcrowded shelter, he wouldn't make eye contact. Six weeks later, he was playing fetch in his foster's backyard, his transformation a testament to patience and gentle care. Today, he greets his adoptive family at the door with a toy in his mouth, his past fears a distant memory.
Every Dog Matters
A senior beagle with cloudy eyes was passed over repeatedly at a rural shelter. In our program, her sweet personality blossomed with proper medication and consistent love. Though we're small, we believe age is just a number – and this 12-year-old now enjoys daily walks with her adopter, proving second chances come at every stage of life.
Small Rescue, Big Hearts
When a local shelter called about a mother dog and her five puppies needing immediate placement, our small team sprang into action. Within hours, a foster home was prepared, veterinary care was arranged, and a dedicated volunteer was assigned to track each puppy's developmental milestones. Small doesn't mean limited – it means nimble, determined, and deeply personal.
